It goes without saying really… but there’s always one! Please turn up with a full tank of fuel  – there are numerous fuel stations along the way to the meeting point, selling your preferred drop of scooter nectar and there is one 2 mins past the meeting point so no excuses!

FRIDAY 1ST NOVEMBER

1ST RIDE OUT

MOOLOOLAH VALLEY/BLACKALL RANGE RUN

Pinch and a punch and hopefully waking up not too dusty from the meet and greet – time to get the trusty steeds ready and out for todays ride out

10am departure sharp!

The first ride out will take us out of the coastal region and up into the hinterland via some of the oldest townships on the sunny coast passing through Eudlo & Mooloolah Valley then up to the Blackall range where you’ll get stunning views of the coast on your right hand side the majority of the ride. Passing through Montville, Flaxton and  Mapleton before carrying on to Gerrard’s lookout for a quick break and photo or two – Pit stop complete, it’s then time to make it down the range to Ricks Garage in Palmwoods, a diner that has become an institution on the Sunshine coast for vehicle enthusiasts of all types, this will be their first vintage scooters on mass turn out, so the team at Ricks are really looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about and looking after us

Lunchtime here -dig in from the excellent menu  or just chill out with a beer or two -we’ll be here for about 2 hours before the final part of the ride back into Mooloolaba with a 3pm eta.

EVENING DO

6pm – 12am

All being well you should have a good few hours back at digs to fettle those scoots, start sinking those beers and getting ready for the evenings entertainment at The Wharf. DJ’s spinning those tunes we all know and love, and the band ‘Baggy Trousers’ will be serving up those all time top tunes from Madness!

our event is located in the function room on level 1 at the centre of the complex , plenty of bars and restaurant’s in the same complex for a bite to eat prior.

That’s it first day done!!

SATURDAY 2ND NOVEMBER

2ND RIDE OUT & SHOW AND SHINE

THE COASTAL RUN

No doubt everyone’s a little worse for wear this morning so we’ll be staying fairly local – again a 10am sharp departure from the same place as yesterday.

We’ll be taking you along the coastal road, north towards Noosa with views of the ocean on your right passing through Coolum Beach, Pergegian Beach before taking a left at Noosa and heading slightly inland to Eumundi then onto Yandina -Woombye – before hooking a right and heading back to the coast through Kiels Mountain to Maroochydore with the ocean now on your left we’ll pass through Alex headlands and onto Mooloolaba Esplanade to an area reserved for us to park for the show and shine.

‘Please take note in this area there will be separate areas clearly marked for certain categories of scooter, it would be appreciated if you could park in the designated area in reverse’

Its lunchtime now so find your self a spot to eat in the many cafe’s/restaurants and bars along the waterfront – we’ll leave the scoots here for the afternoon for the public to admire.

EVENING DO

6pm – 12am

Hopefully the hangover has subsided and your now ready for a hair of the dog and round two at The Wharf – same format -DJ’s spinning  and Baggy Trousers again entertaining us  – don’t worry its a completely different set of other well known ska tunes that will get you on the dance floor once again.

That’s it Second day done!!

SUNDAY 3RD NOVEMBER

DEEP INTO BANJO COUNTRY RUN

Make sure you’re in for this ride as its cracker , we’ll be heading out of the coast and up into the hinterland deep into hillbilly country, through tin pot towns and lovely countryside hitting the odd dirt road to get to a nice little country town called Kenilworth,  stopping here for an hour or two – there’s a good old Queenslander pub, and a few cafes along the main road, including Kenilworth cheese factory.

– BUT one you shouldn’t miss is the bakery – known for its Doughnuts – a range that’ll make you fill your Helmet with saliva just thinking about them!  if you’ve got a serious sweet tooth you can do the 1kg doughnut challenge!

There’s fuel here so fill up before the journey home down the range and back to Mooloolabah again with a 3pm eta.

EVENING DO

6pm – 11pm

Back once again to The Wharf Tonight, possibly slightly more subdued? everyone thinking of their journeys home? or maybe one last party!!??  we’ll still have  DJ’s spinning tunes for the evening – tonight is presentation night – so show and shine winners, Best attended club will be picking up there awards – and maybe a few lucky rally ticket holders to!

As we’ll be having a raffle of some quality scootering prizes! BUT to claim them you have to be in attendance in person with wrist bands on!  so if you fancy winning 1 of 10 prizes ranging from a set of Sip tubeless wheels to a Dellorto 30 phbh carb then make sure you’re in the house from 6-11pm.

We’ll be closing the evening with the handing over the baton to NSW for 2025 – and saying lots of goodbyes till then.

And that is that!

QLD ANCSR 2024

is over!

The ANCSR2024 Show and shine will be held in Mooloolaba
@ 1 River Esplanade, Mooloolaba,

At the end of Saturdays ride we will finish at the show and shine location – the carpark area will have various sized areas cordoned off for each scooter category. We ask everyone to park their scooter in reverse, in the category that’s set out for their model.
If you attended Sydney national a few years back – you’ll know the set up.

It’s important to keep the road ways clear in case of emergency vehicle access, we will however, have the area solely for our use in parking.

Once parked up – wander off and get a feed or a beer and sit back and enjoy the ocean views and chilled out vibe.

Judges will be the SCSC committee who will spend the afternoon checking out what’s on show and choosing the winners for each category.

  1. Good morning, I would like to apply for 1 National ticket for my husband. He has been riding scooters since the mid 80’s and for him it is a way of life. He has a sense of humour and doesn’t take life seriously as the world is crazy enough. Always promoting the inclusivity of the scooter scene as a positive. The Sunshine Coast is a beautiful area for all to ride.

    1. Hi Helen, as we just manage the listings here, you will need to go to the event link to see the info and any tickets links, see you there!

  2. Hi Steve
I wonder if I could get a contact number for senior personal the club?
My name is Bob Cooper and I have just been appointed as the Royal Alloy dealer for country Queenland.
    My number is 0401 356 388.
    Many thanks.

  3. Bob, I do hope you get hold of him and ask why he is writing this kind of crap
“So that means none of that shite scomadi/royal alloy rubbish, no posties, no poxy Vespa GTS’s or Lx’s with top boxes or any other modern day twist and go plastic fantastic scooters or mopeds will be allowed this is NOT the event for you. Capeesh?”
Im sure anyone can go for a look
