Sunday 30/10 – Local Rides & Show’n’Shine & cool shiz
Monday 31/10 – AM – Official rally close, but we’re kicking on with a group ride from Swansea to Hobart for a few more days of devilry for those who are keen.
Tuesday & Wednesday 1 & 2/11 – various guided and self-guided activities in and around Hobart.
The rally website will be launched in a couple of weeks, so you’ll be able to find out all the details there, secure your rally position and pre-order a t-shirt or two. However…
We’ve been told by those in the know to BOOK SWANSEA ACCOMMODATION NOW.
Swansea is a small town, and with borders open, it’s been flagged that we need to get accommodation sorted before the place books out. The main accommodation offers are:

Go direct via website/phone, and quote SCOOTER.
They will be expecting you, and can be more flexible than if you go through external booking agencies.
There is also a backpacker hostel, www.swanseabackpackers.com.au – I haven’t spoken to them, but if enough people slyly whisper SCOOTER with a wink, I’m sure they’ll catch on.
Some offer full refunds if cancelled within a reasonable time ahead of the booking, some don’t – check first. There are a variety of Air BnB operators, but NO tent camping facilities in town.
Rally packs, Ferry, and Devonport/Hobart bookings are no rush at this stage, and can wait for the website launch.
Discount codes for a great hotel in Hobart with secure parking will be listed on our website, as will a discount link for the Ferry, along with answers to all usual questions.
