Penola – Vespa Club of Melbourne and Vespa Club Adelaide meet in the middle

An interstate meetup hosted by Vespa Club Australia. VCoA is encouraging its member clubs to arrange interstate meetups. This meet up is a connection between Vespa Club of Melbourne and Vespa Club Adelaide.

Penola is a beautiful and historical town just over the border in SA, and in the famous wine growing area of Coonawarra. It’s exactly halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne. so it’s a 450 km ride through some wonderful country there and another 450 back, and a chance to meet and ride with some great people from our sister club in Adelaide. Penola has some amazingly preserved architecture – Petticoat Lane is a must see – and of course its where Mary McKillop spent most of her life. VC Adelaide have already organized a lunch at a nearby winery for us.
